Well, I had meant to do this before Jonathan came, but better late then never…

As you can see, this is (finally) the new blog promised! It’s now been a few years since the wedding, and now we are three! Helen and I are really proud of our gorgeous little boy…

Below, you can see the tales of preparation for our wedding. Upcoming – Helen & I will regale you with life with a newborn!

Well it has been an amazing past few weeks. We had a wonderful weddding day – enjoyed every minute of it. Followed by a relaxing honeymoon We now have a liveable house and are back to the real world which includes work… The official photos are beautiful. Well we are starting to get peoples photos from the many digital cameras that were there!!! We are getting the offical ones on Tuesday. But for a start Mike has prepared a web album for us (nice). Here’s Mike on our scooter…

That’s Helen (in the right hand side) out swimming in Muri Lagoon.

This is Mike and Helen at the top of Hospital Hill (the most easily accessible high point in Rarotonga – great views!)

One of Helen’s favourite parts of our resort – the balcony had a place where you could go and feed schools and schools of fishes. The waters were teeming with them!

Trader Jacks – great pizza and an awesome place to hang out (especially when the heavens are about to open!

And finally, waiting for the plane to come and take us back to Auckland.

Well we had a fabulous time in Rarotonga. Wonderful honeymoon destination. We spent our time getting brown on the beach, swimming in the lagoon, SNORKELLING!!!!! which was the highlight, kayaking, lying in the pool (complete with TV to watch sport and all), scootering all over the island etc etc. We will put a few photos up for you to see. We are in the process of compiling the wedding photos for display too

Wow – it’s getting really close now!

We can hardly believe that after waiting 19 months we are now only 3 days away from getting married. The final preparations are underway. Mike and I are both off work now and enjoying this turn of good weather too. Please keep us in your prayers as we enter into this special time.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the day and night of fun yesterday! I had a FANTASTIC day – my sisters did a great job organising everything. We started off with pilates and kick boxing, then brunch at Mission Bay, followed by Speed Mini Golf. The highlight was a pamper party afternoon – highly reccommended. And topped off by a great evening with everyone turning Japanese. Cheers to all! Mikey had a fab day too, so thanks to you boys. Now we are in hard core preparation mode…..
